The Storm that is Jade Cargill
Her abs! Her attitude! Her clothes! HER ABS! She is a storm taking over quickly!
We all remember when we first saw Jade Cargill on AEW Dynamite; when she confronted Cody Rhodes and owned him verbally. When she was pissed off of waiting on the sidelines and challenged Cody to a match (along with Shaq). When she had Brandi Rhodes upset and all Jade did was laugh at her way. She looked like a million bucks and owned the segment. She had the wrestling world buzzing and I knew she was a instant star! I was a fan!
I listened to her AEW interview with her speaking about being told no but still doing things, being inspired by Chyna growing up and wanting to be apart of professional wrestling: “I loved how she looked..you know what? I look good! These muscles look great.” She had so much confidence in herself and knows who she is. She appreciative of her opportunity and proving herself to the wrestling world but she not gonna apologize for who she is. She trains with Dustin Rhodes and QT (from the Nightmare Factory). She wants to wrestle Nyla Rose! Her silver hair is based on -of course- Storm and seeing Storm as a powerful black woman and sees herself as that! (You see photos of her cosplaying as Storm and she looks fantastic! ) She started her own business in fitness, has a Masters in Child Psychology, and is a mom . Her training is insane BTW: abs for 30-40 minutes for five days a week for example!
AEW treated her as a big deal upon her wrestling debut: attacking other women, coming out during Cody matches, video packages of her training with Shaq, and cutting great promos. She showed so much of character and stole each segment. Being a whole bitch and nobody can do anything about it! Coming in instantly and getting in the face of Cody and Brandi! Already owning the place! She knows how her character suppose to look and suppose to act! She has IT! A confident black women instantly owning the wrestling world within a couple showings.
And then we get to the mix tag on March 3rd: her gear, the pyro, her muscles and posing! She looked like a star! So much charisma oozing! Despite Shaq being behind her, you knew it was her night. All eyes were on her and she knew it. It was her time. She got in the ring with Red Velvet and was dominant. She was doing her moves while showing off. She caught Red Velvet, did a fallaway slam, and hit a kip-up! Her power and confidence! Doing a figure four while flexing her muscles! Taunting Cody and Red Velvet! She had no wrestling experience but came in looking like a star and made everything look effortlessly! She was owning the match! She looked like a beast! She then won the match with a elevated double chickenwing facebuster! (also known as a glam slam). Hit that on Red Velvet and pinning her while flexing her muscles! She won her debut! It was great! She looked like a star and owned the night! She made the most of everything and delivered! She is a can’t miss star and you can tell AEW is behind her: teaming her up with Shaq against Cody while giving her the presentation leading up to it. If she delivering like this in her debut, imagine how she gonna be in a couple months. When she facing Nyla Rose. When she facing Thunder Rosa. When she facing the current AEW women champion:Hikaru Shida! When she facing Big Swole! All these matches gonna be amazing! These feuds! She’s everything you want in a superstar. The complete package! The look! The attitude! The character! Her promo skills! The charisma! Her athleticism and power! She is everything of wanting to center you division and company around! If AEW continues to give her opportunities, she gonna take over and fast! Don’t be surprised if she’s champion by next year. She’s a storm and the AEW women division better watch out! Jade Cargill is THAT BITCH!
